Acting Learning Manager - Scottish Book Trust
Scottish Book Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Learning Manager to lead the delivery of its existing Learning Programme. This is a fixed term appointment from appointment to mid October 2011, to cover the duties of the present Learning Manager who will be covering the duties of the Head of Programme during maternity leave.
Learning is a cross-organisational programme within Scottish Book Trust and the Learning Manager will work in collaboration with other programme managers, as well as delivering discrete projects focussed on professional development and resources for the learning sector, promoting the skills and knowledge to support creative learning for literacy.
You will be educated to degree or equivalent level. You will have excellent communication, administrative, line management, relationship management, IT, fundraising and budget management skills. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to work effectively with multiple priorities and across the range of an organisation’s remit. You will have experience of working with a range of partners, a thorough knowledge of Curriculum for Excellence and current arts education policy and practice.
